In this introductory workshop, we'll walk through a few different approaches for creating screen-based digital artwork using code. We'll be learning Processing (http://processing.org), a free open-source programming language & environment for creating realtime graphics. Processing has become an immensely popular tool for artists and designers to create interactive artwork, data visualization and generative processes.

The topics for the workshop include an introduction to the Processing environment, working with images, basic animation practices and generative art.

Some prior familiarity with programming will be helpful, though not required.
