DorkbotPDX people doing strange things with electricity

We are putting together a series of workshops around the dorbotpdx arduino kits (link soon) called "Arduino Cult Induction" The first workshop will be held on the 11th of May 2008 at PNCA. (http://www.dorkbotpdx.org/workshop/arduino/cult_induction_rev1)

Early there was a circuit bending workshop called HAYWIRE being held on 2007.01.27. You can read more about it over here!

A discussion has been ongoing for some time that we should host workshops. This page will eventually hold info on upcoming workshops and links to info about workshops past. For now, go add some ideas for workshops you'd like to see. Of course, the plan is to have both organized, tutorial-like workshops and also have open working sessions where everyone can bring whatever project they are currently developing and work in a group environment.

We're hoping to eventually have these workshops every month, probably alternating between the tutorials and the group work session. Of course, even on the tutorial days, you'll most likely be welcome to bring your project and sit to the side or whatever, so long as you don't disturb the goings on of the workshop too much. We like to keep it loose and informal around here.
