In just under two weeks, we'll be meeting at Someday Lounge instead of
Backspace. We'll be using this opportunity to host an OpenDork/Open-mic
event for artists, nerds, tinkerers, geeks, dorks and others:
8-minute performances. Simultaneous video and audio tracks.
The blurb here is short, best to click the link for details about the
show and how to submit works for consideration (email or online).
Pure-data, cinder, kinect, midi, synthesis, STUFF.

Anyway, good cause, interesting work. We don't forward on this stuff

The event is free and open to the public. We encourage anybody who is
interested and can make it to attend!
Hope to see some of you there!
See you then!

Backspace is having a show next Monday and we're being bumped two doors
down to the Someday Lounge (21+).
If you have specific power needs and are able, you might need to BYOEC
(extension cable). :)
See you then!

The first is Physical Computing for Artists, being taught by our own Don Davis (though, I have it from a reliable source that one Collin Oldham may also make a guest appearance!). The course will be focused on using the Arduino to sense and control objects within the physical space. This is a new course at PNCA and I hope to see it continue on into the future.
